We would love to see you're most favorite weather related photos. You may submit one (1) new photo each day. Each week Kelly will select her five (5) favorites for you to vote upon. Winners will be announced during the Sunday 11pm Sunday Snapshot's section of the news. If your photo is not chosen, don't worry, all photos not chosen will remain eligible for future postings.
How does it work?
You may submit your photo to wane.com for a chance to be voted as our weekly Sunday Snapshot's winner. If you received the most votes, your name and submitted photo will be announced and shown on Sunday during our 11PM Newscast.
Can I still submit a photo if the contest has already started?
Yes. As long as it is still within the contest period.
Are there prizes?
Yes. Weekly Prizes from our sponsors. The winner will receive the weekly prize via US mail. The weekly prize is $25 worth of Dairy Queen gift certificates.
What format should my photo be in?
You should provide/upload your photo in JPG format and a minimum of a 2 Mega pixels. (See your camera settings for photo size). If scanning your photo, no less than 600dpi as a resolution. We need this high quality photo so if you are chosen as a winner, it will look it's best on TV.
Are there any limitations on what can be in the photo?
Yes. Photos should be weather related only and not include people or pets. Photos submitted with people or pets will not be chosen to be voted on.
Can I win more than once?
Yes, we will wait at least thirty (30) days before allowing a different photo you submit to be voted upon again.
